The Parish Council

Windle Parish council consists of nine elected members from the local community.

The parish council, currently chaired by Mr Wally Ashcroft, meets on every third Tuesday of the month at Eccleston Parish Hall in Kiln Lane. They discuss local community matters ranging from planning applications to the forthcoming changes in the parish boundary.

The parish employs a part time clerk, currently Mr Len Kilshaw, who is responsible for implementing policy decisions as well as liasing with the town council and the local parishioners.
